L’économie politique du Royaume-Uni : du libéralisme au néolibéralisme

Ce cours aura pour but de comprendre les mutations de l’économie politique britannique du XVIII^e siècle à aujourd’hui. Les différentes variantes du libéralisme seront étudiées, du libéralisme classique du XIX^e siècle au néolibéralisme contemporain en passant par le nouveau libéralisme du XX^e. On cherchera à comprendre le contexte dans lequel ces mutations ont eu lieu, le rôle de l’État et les tensions entre la théorie et la pratique du libéralisme.

Approfondir les connaissances de l’économie politique du Royaume-Uni dans une perspective professionnelle.

Très bon niveau d’anglais (niveau licence 3 minimum)
