Upon completion of the module students will :

  • be able to identify general, specific, and cross-cutting issues that renewable energy law intends to frame and regulate 
  • understand and be able to analyse specific mechanisms and schemes used to promote the use of renewable energies 
  • be able to study different renewable energy law and policy schemes and assess their effectivity 
  • have learnt how critical is the financial issue to promoting the use of renewable energy that laws and policies are regularly crafted, tested and changed to implement, adapt, adjust the energy transition effort
